Description: The front elevation to this mid terraced property in Gloucester was showing severe signs of separation within the masonry and bowing at first floor level.
Over 100 DryFix replacement wall ties were installed along with a HeliBeam and BowTie system at first floor level to provide lateral restraint. The pictures show a classic example of “snapped headers” failing to provide a bond within this solid wall, the upper level requiring rebuilding due to such excessive movement.
